Exclusive: Moustache Mountain Name Their Favourite Matches In WWE NXT UK

Trent Seven and Tyler Bate have been involved in some of NXT UK's finest matches since the brand's inception. 

Whether wrestling in singles action or in tag-team bouts - as Moustache Mountain - the duo have been a cornerstone of the United Kingdom brand, facing off against some of the world's biggest and best. 

The duo sat down for an exclusive interview with Cultaholic Wrestling's Mitch Waddon and, during the course of the conversation, revealed the matches that held a special place in their respective hearts. 

Seven said: "From recent times, the final of the Heritage Cup with A-Kid. I knew I was in there with a kid who was trying to make a name for himself and it felt like that. Every single kick felt like it was in the back of my spine rather than the front of my chest. Everything felt deeper and we really had to dig deep.

"Not having the fans there, it’s so much more pugilistic. It’s so much more, just looking directly across the ring at the person you’re competing against, and forcing yourself to be constantly moving. I felt that one for a few weeks."

Bate named more than one match, highlighting bouts from both his singles run and his tag-team with Seven. 

He said: "The obvious one is always the Pete Dunne match in Chicago. Then there’s the Royal Albert Hall when we won the Tag Team Titles. I felt like the match I had with WALTER at TakeOver Cardiff, that felt like another milestone-level match. 

"To me, I’m just trying to do the most fun. I want wrestling to be better off for my involvement in it."
