Former WWE Wrestler Officially A Free Agent

A former WWE wrestler is now a free agent after contract expiration

It was revealed in late April that Reggie (also known as SCRYPTS in NXT) was set to leave WWE, with the decision being made by the company to not renew his deal with the promotion - something that was expected by the man himself. It was reported previously that his contract was expiring at the start of June, and Fightful Select have now further reported that his contract has indeed come to an end, and he is now officially a free agent.

Reggie has already taken several steps towards his future, with independent dates announced previously, with it being public knowledge that he was set to part ways with WWE after spending nearly four years as a competitor. The report from Fightful Select did reveal that Reggie was in talks with a “televised wrestling company”, though it wasn’t clear who this was.

Reggie has spoken out about his time in WWE in recent months, detailing his enjoyment and pride for his run there, though he did note that he was not a fan of the SCRYPTS mask that he had to wear for some time in NXT.
