Hulk Hogan Coming Out Of Retirement For Ric Flair's Last Match?

Hulk Hogan having one more match?

Only two months on from announcing he wouldn't be able to work another match, Hulk Hogan may well be set for an in-ring return.

Former WWE star Brian Blair revealed to Wrestling Shoot Interviews that he was "looking forward" to seeing Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan at SummerSlam, with the Killer Bees man seemingly meaning Starrcast V, which will host the independent wrestling event 'Ric Flair's Last Match.'

Blair then discussed Hogan and Flair returning to the ring, adding: "Well, I think if Ric were gonna die anywhere, he'd wanna die in the ring. Terry's had his fair share of surgeries, way too many and I'm getting ready to call Terry in a couple of minutes. I just wish them the very best. I know the fans are the ones that have been really egging it on that really want to see it. So it's sparked them. All I can say is it will be interesting and I just pray that they both come out in one piece."

After being asked if he was confirming Hogan's in-ring return, though, Blair backtracked and claimed he had read it somewhere on the internet. No reports had noted anything about Hogan being involved in Ric Flair's last match prior to Blair's comments, however.

Ricky Steamboat revealed that he was originally approached about being involved in Ric Flair's retirement match but he turned down the opportunity. Confirmed for the match so far is FTR and The Rock 'n' Roll Express.

The show will take place on July 31 and is being promoted by Thuzio, a Triller company.
