Io Shirai Issues Challenge For WWE NXT WarGames

The competitors in the women's WarGames match have seemingly been revealed.

Raquel Gonzalez faced former friend Dakota Kai in the main event of Tuesday's NXT 2.0 but the match ended in a DQ after Toxic Attraction headed to the ring and attacked the former NXT Women's Champion. Cora Jade, who has recently started a feud with Kai, then made the save for Gonzalez but she was laid out herself by the heels. 

Next in line to make the save was Zoey Stark, who handed Io Shirai one of her crutches. The Genius Of The Sky then attacked the heels, forcing them to scurry from the squared circle. 

As Toxic Attraction and Kai lay on the outside, Shirai stole William Regal's job and bellowed "WarGames!", issuing the challenge for the NXT special.  

WarGames has been a four vs. four match in recent years. With Zoey Stark on the shelf, though, who will be the fourth member of the babyface team remains to be seen. 

While not a TakeOver event, the NXT WarGames special will take place on Sunday, December 5.
