Jeff Hardy On Brock Lesnar: "I Would Love To Get My Ass Kicked By Him Again, Maybe."

A rematch 18 years in the making?

When Brock Lesnar burst onto the WWE scene in 2002, his first real rivalry of consequence came when he took on both Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff. In fact, Lesnar's first pay-per-view match came at that year's Backlash, when he defeated Jeff via stoppage.

Hardy reflected on his history with Lesnar while speaking on After the Bell, and considered the possibility of meeting up with "The Beast Incarnate" once more, now that both men are past the age of 40.

"I forgot I was his first match in WWE. I would love to get my ass kicked by him again, maybe," Hardy said. "He's intimidating and insanely gifted. To be as successful as he was in the MMA world is amazing. That'd be interesting. Maybe that could be my last match. I was his first match, he can be my last."

Hardy also claims that he presented an idea back then where he would attempt to hit a Swanton Bomb onto Lesnar's manager Paul Heyman, only for Lesnar to spear an upside-down Hardy out of the air. However, Hardy was turned down.
