Jeff Jarrett Provides Health Update On Don West

Best wishes to Don West

Jeff Jarrett announced on Tuesday that former TNA Wrestling Commentator Don West is back in hospital "to kick cancer's ass" for a second time.

"Spoke with my friend, @DonWestDeals, earlier today... With his permission I send this tweet - he's back in the hospital to kick cancer's ass a 2nd time! I certainly believe in the power of prayer... if you do as well, please send a prayer up for Don and his family!" Jarrett tweeted

West was diagnosed with brain lymphoma in June of this year and he revealed in September that his cancer had gone into remission after two months of treatment. The treatment also forced West to go on a sabbatical from his sports radio show on NewsRadio 560 KPQ in Washington state.

West previously served as the colour commentator for TNA Wrestling from 2002 until 2012, and later had a one-night return at Slammiversary XV in 2017. West was a babyface announcer for much of his run with TNA alongside Mike Tenay and was famous for his boisterous, cheerfully over-the-top style.
