Joey Janela Abandons Sonny Kiss On AEW Dark

Their tag team looks to be over

An All Elite Wrestling tag team appeared to split up on last night's edition of AEW Dark.

Sonny Kiss went one on one with Brian Cage in the main event of the show and The Machine picked up the win after five minutes with Weapon X. Team Taz weren't done with Kiss after the bell, though, and Hook climbed into the ring and started beating down The Concrete Rose.

Joey Janela initially moved to enter the ring and save his tag team partner, but he instead turned around and walked away with his head in his hands.

If this is the official end of Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela's tag team remains to be seen, but their partnership definitely looks to be on the rocks.

The Bad Boy and Kiss have been teaming together since March 2020. They have spent much of their time on AEW Dark, though, and haven't been involved in a tag team match on Dynamite since September 23 when they were defeated by Kip Sabian and Miro.

Janela has competed in singles matches on AEW's flagship show in 2021, but his one and only appearance was back in February in a TNT Title match against Darby Allin.
