Konosuke Takeshita Makes The Save For Kenny Omega On AEW Dynamite

Konosuke Takeshita came to Kenny Omega’s aid on AEW Dynamite

The Elite vs. Blackpool Combat Club saga went in a new direction on April 19, when Konosuke Takeshita entered the fray, saving Kenny Omega from a gang attack by the BCC on AEW Dynamite.

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were in-ring to air their grievances when Bryan Danielson appeared on the entrance screen, calling the trio ‘amateurs’ and distracting them long enough so Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli could bum rush them and lay on a beating.

Danielson himself soon made his way ringside and threatened to attack Omega with a screwdriver, causing Omega’s long-time advisor Don Callis to arrive with a steel chair, before changing his mind and rushing backstage to grab Konosuke Takeshita, with Takeshita joining forces with Omega to clean house.

Despite making the save, The Elite didn’t seem overly enamoured with Takeshita’s assistance, despite Takeshita and Omega’s past, never mind the fact that Callis has been scouting Takeshita for months. Regardless, The Young Bucks announced on Twitter that they owe Takeshita a Cinnabon, whilst Konosuke himself simply Tweeted “THE ELITE IS THE BEST”.
