Kurt Angle 'Almost Fully Recovered' From Knee Surgery

Kurt Angle underwent knee surgery earlier this year

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has revealed that he has almost fully recovered from surgery, having gone under the knife earlier this year for double knee replacement surgery.

The former WWE and TNA World Heavyweight Champion underwent surgery in the summer, and on the Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle gave an update on his condition:

"It's six and a half months from the surgery, and I'm almost fully recovered. It usually takes nine to 12 months, but I'm there. I'm really happy. My legs are stronger now than they were before surgery. They don't want me to run yet. Probably in another month or two, I'll start running again, but I'm not allowed to run very far. I can't run more than two miles,” said Angle.

Angle has had many surgeries over the course of his career, with ‘The Wrestling Machine’ undergoing several neck surgeries in order to avoid neck fusion surgery. Despite his multiple injuries and surgeries, Angle has not completely closed the door on wrestling again.
