Kurt Angle Comments On Possibly Wrestling In AEW

The Wrestling Machine stepped away from the ring at WrestleMania 35

Back at WrestleMania 35, Kurt Angle stepped inside the squared circle for the final time and was defeated by Baron Corbin in a six-minute match. Many fans were dissatisfied with Angle's retirement and the man himself has admitted he wanted to wrestle John Cena in his final match, but Vince McMahon wanted The Wrestling Machine to face Corbin to finish off their storyline.

Angle has been asked about a possible return to the ring since his retirement, especially since his departure from WWE, and some speculated he was All Elite Wrestling's hall of fame-worthy signing ahead of Revolution.

A return to the ring in AEW isn't on the horizon, though, and the Olympic Gold Medallist mentioned on The Kurt Angle Show that he doesn't think he'll wrestle in the promotion.

When asked if he would come to AEW to wrestle, Angle said: "I don't think so. I texted Big Show and said congratulations on signing with AEW and he said 'Oh man, I feel like I'm 25.' I was like holy s**t, you're going to wrestle? He didn't answer me, but he said he felt like he was 25 again, I guess that means he's going to wrestle, I don't know."
