Larry D gone from IMPACT

Larry D has seemingly been granted his release from IMPACT Wrestling.

The former XXXL man noted on February 1 that he had requested his release from the promotion and Larry announced on Friday, February 4 that he was now officially a free agent and has his eyes set on working for AEW, MLW and NWA.

"As of today im offically a free agent again in the world of professional wrestling, im so thankful for opportunity @IMPACTWRESTLING provided in my life. Im ready to step through doors never imagined @AEW @MLW@nwa im ready to step through those doors!" he tweeted.

The 38-year-old had been a regular in IMPACT since his debut at All Glory in October 2019. He soon formed XXXL with Acey Romero and they competed in the tag team division until May of 2021.

Romero was then granted his release from IMPACT a few months later and Larry returned to the company in November as Lawrence D.

The former XXXL member's final match in IMPACT came at Throwback Throwdown II in December when he performed as Badlands Bart against Jake Something's Harry Hall persona.
