Michael Cole Signs New WWE Deal

Michael Cole is staying with WWE

Michael Cole has been the voice of WWE for decades, joining WWE all the way back in 1997 and undertaking a variety of different roles over the years, before settling in as lead commentator and the soundtrack behind many of WWE’s most iconic moments. Although it was noted earlier this year that Cole was stepping down from some of his roles in WWE, which is understandable given his age, he won’t be going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

During a feature by The Ringer discussing the career of Michael Cole, it was revealed that Cole had pencilled a brand new deal with WWE.

"This spring, Cole signed a new contract that will keep him as the voice of WWE for the foreseeable future.”

Cole is currently on the Monday Night RAW brand alongside broadcast partner Pat McAfee. It has been in the rumour mill recently that McAfee may or may not be taking time off soon to rejoin the ESPN College GameDay team, but even if McAfee does take another hiatus, the leader of the Cole-miners is strapped in for a while.
