Mustafa Ali Reveals Why He Changed His WWE Finisher

Why Mustafa Ali ditched the 054 revealed

While Mustafa Ali previously used a reverse 450 Splash - the 054 - as his finishing move in WWE, the former SmackDown Hacker has been using just an ordinary 450 Splash as his finisher for some time.

Ali revealed why that was the case over the weekend, telling a fan on Twitter that the risks when executing the 054 were not "worth the reward."

Ali also uses a Tornado DDT as one of his signature moves.

The 36-year-old has been with WWE since 2016 but it appeared he would exit the company earlier this year after he publicly requested his release. The request was not granted, though, and he ultimately returned to WWE TV on the April 25 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Ali began a feud with Theory over the United States Championship upon the cruiserweight's return and he unsuccessfully challenged for the gold at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view on Sunday, June 5. Ali has competed once since then, defeating his former RETRIBUTION faction-mate T-Bar on an episode of Main Event.
