New AEW Signing Revealed

AEW have made a new signing

All Elite Wrestling have added another new name to their broadcast team.

Melissa Santos announced on Instagram that she has signed with AEW as a ring announcer and backstage interviewer. Santos wrote: "Did you miss me? Thank you @aew for the opportunity and to those who helped make this happen. Grateful. Now let's get to work."

Santos has plenty of experience in pro wrestling, having begun her career back in 2012 as La Nina in WOW - Women of Wrestling. She was then the ring announcer for Lucha Underground and worked as a backstage interviewer for TNA Wrestling (then IMPACT) in 2019.

Melissa Santos is married to AEW's Brian Cage and they welcomed their second child together in November 2023. Brian Cage re-signed with All Elite Wrestling in early 2023 and he has been part of the promotion since 2020.

Santos is the latest addition AEW have made to their broadcast team. Arkady Aura made her debut earlier this year and it emerged in June that Alicia Atout had officially signed with All Elite Wrestling as a backstage interviewer. Other AEW backstage interviewers include Renee Paquette, Lexy Nair, and Alex Marvez.
