Nick Khan Claims Vince McMahon Is "Not That Involved" With WWE Creative

Nick Khan has confirmed that Vince McMahon at least has some say in WWE's creative direction, revealing on the Marchand & Ourand Sports Media Podcast that the WWE Executive Chairman is "not that involved" with creative. 

Khan further noted that McMahon respects Triple H's position as Chief Content Officer and they have their own dynamic due to their son-in-law and father-in-law relationship. 

The WWE CEO did not completely deny McMahon's involvement in creative, which only adds to the recent reports and concern within the WWE roster that McMahon is involved with creative in some capacity. More Vince-isms have popped up on WWE TV in recent weeks, like a pre-taped interview being redone after 'wrestling' was mentioned, and there have been more last-minute rewrites of WWE TV in recent weeks. 

Even Triple H has noted that he speaks to Vince McMahon about creative, although the Chief Content Officer has insisted he retains the final say.

Vince McMahon forced his way back into WWE as Executive Chairman in January 2023 to facilitate a sale of the organisation. WWE will meet with potential buyers in April ahead of the first round of bids.
