Nick Khan: "We're Doing A Complete Revamp On NXT"

Promises a whole new look and feel

WWE President Nick Khan says a "complete revamp" for NXT is imminent, in an interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport.

"We're doing a complete revamp on NXT, led by Triple H, Paul Levesque, who is really one of the architects of the original NXT," said Khan. "In terms of an NXT rebrand, look for it in the next couple of weeks. It's gonna have a whole new look, it's gonna have a whole new feel."

Khan also discussed a change in philosophy when it comes to recruiting talent for the developmental brand.

"What we believe, because of lot of the 'indie wrestlers' if you will have come through our system and are in our system with SmackDown and Raw now, we don't want to just keep doing that same thing," said Khan.  "We want to look elsewhere for great young talent."

NXT is taping several weeks worth of television over the coming days, taking the show at least into the middle of September.

NXT TakeOver 36 takes place tonight at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando.
