Nikki Garcia's Husband Artem Chigvintsev Arrested On Allegations Of Corporal Injury To Spouse

Nikki Garcia's husband Artem Chigvintsev was arrested on Thursday following a domestic violence call in Napa Valley, California. 

TMZ has reported that Chigvintsev was arrested shortly before 10 am PT on felony charges of corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant after police officers responded to a domestic violence incident at a home in Yountville, California. Chigvintsev was arrested at the scene. The injury must be visible to make the arrest for a felony. 

TMZ further noted that a call was made at 8:30 am to report a "medical emergency" at Chigvintsev's home in Yountville. Who made the call is unknown but the request was later cancelled and paramedics and firemen returned to their stations. 

Chigvintsev was released at 2:18 pm PT on Thursday on a $25,000 bail. A representative for the Napa County Sheriff's Office stated the victim in the case had asked for total confidentiality. 

Nikki Garcia and Artem Chigvintsev have been married since 2022 after beginning their relationship in 2019. They had initially been paired together on Dancing with the Stars. They share a four-year-old son and own a home together in Napa Valley.
