Paul Heyman: The Usos Are At The Top Of Tag Team Wrestling

It’s hard to look past Jimmy and Jey

Debate rages on amongst wrestling fans as to who are the best tag team today in professional wrestling, but according to Paul Heyman, it’s The Usos.

Heyman was full of praise for The Bloodline members, singing Jimmy and Jey Uso’s praises to Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso:

“The Usos are at the top of tag team wrestling,” said Heyman. “I am very proud of the SmackDown world tag-team champions, to the point where I proudly stand by them as the warden of the ‘Uso Penitentiary.’”

Despite Heyman’s obvious allegiance to The Usos and their ‘Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns, it is hard to look past The Usos, with the seven time WWE Tag Team Champions the cornerstone of the division across the company for much of the last decade, alongside such other names as The New Day.

Currently enjoying their fifth run with SmackDown’s tag titles, The Usos have held the straps for over 130 days during this reign, having defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio for the titles at Money in the Bank in July.
