Positive Update On Daniel Garcia's AEW Future

Latest on Daniel Garcia's AEW future

There has seemingly been further confirmation that Daniel Garcia will be sticking with All Elite Wrestling.

AEW announced dates for future TV tapings in late 2024. Garcia is featured on the poster for the October 26 and November 2 episodes of AEW Collision in Cedar Rapids and Philadelphia respectively. Garcia is also on the poster for the traditional pre-Thanksgiving edition of Dynamite in Chicago on November 27.

The expectation is Daniel Garcia will be remaining with AEW but he has yet to put pen to paper on a new contract with the promotion. His current contract is set to expire in October and the lack of a new deal for Garcia led to his All Out plans changing

Garcia faced MJF in the opening contest of All Out and the former ROH Pure Champion was originally planned to secure a clean victory over MJF. As Garcia has not re-signed, however, AEW changed the finish to MJF winning following a low blow. Garcia then ended the segment on top after he took out Friedman with a Top Rope Piledriver post-match that left MJF being stretchered out of the building.
