Report: AEW Changes Planned Winner Of Daniel Garcia Vs. MJF At All Out
Daniel Garcia originally planned to win at AEW All Out
All Elite Wrestling changed their original plans for the opening contest of All Out that saw MJF take on Daniel Garcia.
The match was ultimately won by MJF as the former AEW World Champion picked up the victory after hitting Garcia with a low blow before he pinned his opponent for the win. Garcia then ended the segment on top, though, as he took out MJF with a Piledriver from the top rope post-match.
According to Ibou of WrestlePurists, Daniel Garcia was originally planned to defeat MJF clean at All Out. As Garcia has yet to re-sign with All Elite Wrestling, however, the finish was changed to have MJF go over.
Garcia's future with All Elite Wrestling has been up in the air for months, with it known that his deal with the promotion expires in October. There is reportedly interest in Garcia from WWE but he is expected to remain with AEW. He has still yet to put pen to paper even though AEW are under the impression Garcia will be staying.
Daniel Garcia has been a part of AEW since 2021. He is a former ROH Pure Champion.
