Pro Wrestling RPG To Be Released Summer 2022
New Pro Wrestling game coming later this year
A new professional wrestling video game is currently in development and will be released later this year.
Mega Cat Studios and Skybound Games have revealed WrestleQuest, a new professional wrestling RPG that will be released worldwide in summer 2022 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Players will control a young wrestler as they look to become an all-time great, taking part in turn-based combat.
On their quest, players will interact with legends of the industry, including 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, Jeff Jarrett, Jake Roberts, Andre The Giant, Booker T and Diamond Dallas Page.
"WrestleQuest captures the spirit and passion of wrestling, through the lens of an unforgettable RPG experience. Many of the team at Mega Cat grew up watching wrestling and it holds an undeniable nostalgic place for us. This game is a celebration of that world, complete with special fully licensed appearances by some of our favourite wrestlers from the 80s, 90s and today," Founder of Mega Cat Studios James Deighan said.
