Randy Orton Reportedly 'Not Cleared To Perform' On WWE Raw

Orton was absent from this week's Raw

Further details have reportedly emerged regarding Randy Orton's recent absence from WWE Monday Night Raw and a Live Event over the weekend.

The Viper was not involved with the September 27 episode of Raw, with tag-team partner Riddle claiming that Orton was taking a well-deserved night off. However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer would then reveal that Orton was also absent from a WWE live event on Saturday, despite being advertised for the show.

PWInsider have now offered some insight into Orton's ongoing situation, revealing that the Raw Tag Team Champion simply is 'not cleared to perform' at this current time.

The 41-year-old last wrestled on WWE television on the September 20 episode of Raw, defeating AJ Styles. A week prior, Orton competed with Bobby Lashley over the WWE Championship in the Raw main event.

Orton had taken a number of weeks off from WWE over the summer before returning at the start of August to reignite his tag-team with Riddle, leading to the duo winning the Raw Tag Team Titles.
