Report: A Lot Of Trepidation Within WWE NXT Ahead Of 2.0 Relaunch

Concern within NXT ahead of tonight

A new era of NXT is set to begin tonight and WWE will inject some colour into the Tuesday night show, moving away from the black and gold in the process. Several new talents are also set to make their TV debuts tonight, namely Rex Steiner, the son of Rick Steiner.

Ahead of the relaunch, there is a lot of trepidation amongst NXT Superstars, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Stress and concern was already high within the brand following the latest set of releases as talent who had done "everything they were supposed to" were the ones who were let go. This has left some of the remaining talent feeling like they are on 'thin ice" within the company and that they could be let go at any time.

Triple H's recent medical emergency has also added to the trepidation amongst the roster as some Superstars are unsure what to expect at today's tapings, nor do they know who will be running the tapings with Levesque unlikely to be at the Capitol Wrestling Center.

NXT talent were given an earlier call-time than usual due to the relaunch and the resumption of live tapings. NXT is expected to be live through the remainder of September and October.
