Report: AEW Putting Together Creative For Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia creative plans being worked on by AEW

Whilst Daniel Garcia is yet to publicly reveal where his pro-wrestling future lies, All Elite Wrestling are seemingly once again feeling confident of retaining Garcia’s services, with creative plans reportedly being worked on for Garcia should he sign a new deal with the organisation.

The former ROH Pure Champion’s current deal is believed to expire in October 2024, with both AEW and WWE very keen on having Garcia on their roster. At one point it seemed that AEW were losing confidence in their efforts to retain Garcia, but a new report from WrestlePurists states that AEW are apparently still optimistic Garcia will sign a new deal, with creative plans being created should ‘Red Death’ stay ‘All Elite’.

Garcia has not been used on AEW TV since writing off MJF at All Out 2024, with Garcia’s prior return at All In seen as a giveaway that he was set to stick with the promotion.

The former Jericho Appreciation Society member is seen as a future major star in the professional wrestling world, with WWE head Triple H reportedly seeing Garcia as the ‘next great technical wrestler’ in the sport, with comparisons made to the likes of Roderick Strong and Bryan Danielson.
