Injured AEW Star Returning Imminently

An AEW return ‘imminent’ for injured star

An injured star is believed to be preparing for their imminent return to All Elite Wrestling.

A report from WrestlePurists WorldWide suggests that former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White is set to make his return to AEW, with ‘King Switch’ having been out of action since July 2024.

White’s last match was a loss to Hangman Page in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, and with Page recently turning his demented gaze onto Bullet Club Gold’s Juice Robinson, it seems as though all roads are leading to a Hangman vs. White feud at some point.

‘Switchblade’ was ruled out of action with a foot injury, but was believed to be close to a return in mid-August, with an All In Casino Gauntlet return discussed for White, although these plans never came to fruition.

White has been ‘All Elite’ with AEW since April 2023, having made several appearances for the company prior to his full-time signing due to the working relationship between AEW and White’s former employer New Japan Pro-Wrestling. In AEW, White is a former Undisputed AEW/ROH Trios Tag Team Champion alongside The Gunns.
