Report: AEW Signs Kamille

AEW have bolstered their women's division with a big new addition.

AEW have completed the signing of former NWA World Women's Champion Kamille, according to a report by Fightful Select, which states:

"Kamille has been a free agent since January 1. She recently stated on Twitter that she has been signed since February and Fightful Select has learned that the former NWA World Women's Champion is slated to join AEW, and is under contract with the company. [...] Tony Khan had stated on a media call prior to AEW Revolution that he considered Kamille to be a great free agent and noted that she was somebody the promotion had scouted believing her to be a good fit for the company."

Earlier this year, WWE sources had told PWInsider that Kamille was in talks with WWE, but negotiations broke down shortly afterwards

Kamille has previously appeared on-screen in AEW, showing up on a 2021 episode of Dynamite, but she has never wrestled in the promotion. She competed in NWA between 2018 and 2024, and held the NWA World Women's Championship for 812 days. She eventually lost the title to current champion Kenzie Paige at the 75th Anniversary event in August 2023.
