Report: Another Title Match Under Consideration For WWE Extreme Rules

Extreme Rules is set for October 8, 2022

We are a little over a week away from WWE’s next pay-per-view as Extreme Rules is set to take place on Saturday, October 8, and with only six matches confirmed for the show, there could be some additions made before the big night.

Two acts so far conspicuous by their absence on the show are Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos, and United States Champion Bobby Lashley. So far there is no word on if either are set for the show, but a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests The Usos are in discussion about having a match on the card, although nothing is set in stone. Meltzer didn't mention if Lashley was being considered for a match.

The announced card so far for WWE Extreme Rules 2022:

  • Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey - WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Extreme Rules Match
  • Matt Riddle vs. Seth Rollins - Fight Pit Match
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross - Strap Match
  • Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley - WWE Raw Women’s Championship Ladder Match
  • Edge vs. Finn Balor - 'I Quit' Match
  • The Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium - Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match
