Report: Dakota Kai & Xia Li Leading Call-Up Candidates For WWE Draft

Who will be on the move?

WWE's latest roster shake-up is set to begin tonight on Friday Night SmackDown before its conclusion on the October 4 episode of Monday Night Raw.

It emerged earlier this week that WWE were planning to move "many" NXT talents to the main roster in the upcoming draft and the likes of Hit Row and LA Knight are reportedly under consideration to be called up.

In the women's division, Dakota Kai and Xia Li are believed to be the leading candidates for a main roster call-up, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Li, in particular, has been marked out as a potential call-up because WWE wants a Chinese star, with the success of UFC's Zhang Weili having been noted as a motivating factor.

Meltzer also reported that Aliyah was another leading candidate to be drafted. Reports noted back in July that the former member of the Robert Stone Brand was moved to Monday Night Raw as part of a trade for Mandy Rose. Aliyah has yet to make her Raw debut, though, but she has wrestled in several SmackDown dark matches.
