Report: Mandy Rose Released By WWE

WWE releases Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose has been released by WWE, according to Fightful Select

WWE reportedly felt they had to release the former NXT Women's Champion because of "what they considered the explicit nature of the content on her FanTime page." WWE thought the content was outside the parameters of her contract.

Rose's release comes only one day after she dropped the NXT Women's Championship to Roxanne Perez in a match that was originally scheduled to take place on January 10 at New Year's Evil. Fightful noted that Rose dropping the belt to Perez was "an abrupt decision."

WWE signed Rose in 2015 after she was a contestant on the sixth season of Tough Enough. She spent two years in NXT before moving to the main roster in late 2017. God's Greatest Creation spent much of her time on the main roster linked to Sonya Deville, first as a tag team partner and then as a rival.

Rose moved back to NXT in the Summer of 2021 and formed Toxic Attraction with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne soon after. Rose then won the NXT Women's Championship from Raquel Gonzalez at Halloween Havoc 2021 and held onto the title until her loss to Perez on December 13, 2022.
