Report: Petey Williams Signs With WWE As A Producer
Williams has signed on the dotted line
After working as a backstage producer on a trial basis since October of 2021, Petey Williams has reportedly signed with WWE.
According to Fightful Select, WWE recently offered Williams a contract and The Maple Leaf Muscle put pen to paper on a full-time deal with the company earlier this week.
Several WWE Superstars have spoken highly of Williams' producing since he joined the company, with many of them having grown up watching him inside the squared circle.
Prior to his WWE run, Williams was a part of the IMPACT Wrestling roster in his latest stint with the promotion and he appeared on IMPACT TV as recently as October 14, 2021, in a Battle Royal. His latest run with the company began in April of 2021 and he spent several months competing in the X Division.
Williams has spent much of his career with IMPACT over several stints, first debuting in the promotion back in 2004. He is a two-time X-Division Champion.
Williams joins other former IMPACT Wrestling talents in D-Von Dudley, Chris Park and Shane Helms as a producer in WWE.
