Report: Roman Reigns Vs. Brock Lesnar At WWE SummerSlam Might Not Be Their Last-Ever Match

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns might clash for an eighth, ninth or tenth time

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will face off in singles action for the seventh time at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view when they go one-on-one in a Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The match has been promoted so far as their last-ever encounter but that might not be the case. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE don't believe the last time ever billing is official as the company may need to book Reigns and Lesnar against each other again in the future if a talent gets injured or a wrestler is suddenly unavailable for a major match.

That was the case with SummerSlam as the original plan was for Reigns to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Randy Orton but the RK-Bro man is currently out of action with a serious back injury that requires surgery. Since Orton wasn't going to be available, WWE decided to bring Lesnar back from his hiatus.

SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, July 30, in Nashville, Tennessee. Other matches booked for the show include Bobby Lashley vs. Theory for the United States Championship, and Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin.
