Report: Triple H And Shawn Michaels High On Tian Sha In WWE NXT

A number of WWE officials, including Triple H and Shawn Michaels, have reportedly been very impressed with the Tian Sha gimmick on NXT in recent weeks.

Tian Sha debuted on the January 13 episode of NXT and has been seen giving orders from the stage to Xia Li and Boa as they compete on the black-and-gold brand. 

The developing angle has been an intriguing aspect of NXT each week and, according to Fightful Select, both Triple H and Shawn Michaels are high on what Tian Sha has been doing on NXT in the past few weeks. 

Both former members of D-Generation X have been very hands on with the character development and presentation, and see it as having a long-term future on NXT. 

The report also says that, so far on-screen, the role of Tian Sha has been portrayed by the former Karen Q, who has not wrestled since July 2019 after suffering a knee injury. The last time she appeared on WWE programming was in 2018 during the Mae Young Classic when she, somewhat ironically, had a match with Xia Li.
