Report: Two WWE Stars Cast In A Movie

More WWE stars to appear on the silver screen

Professional wrestlers transitioning to Hollywood has become more common in the past 10 years, with Batista and John Cena having established themselves as movie stars. MJF is also set to star in an upcoming movie about the Von Erichs and Seth Rollins was recently spotted on the set of Captain America: New World Order.

Two more WWE stars are seemingly set to dabble with the silver screen and Fightful Select has reported that Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan are scheduled to be a part of an upcoming wrestling movie. The movie is set to chronicle the life and career of Mildred Burke, a pioneer of women's professional wrestling, and is based on the book Queen of the Ring by Jeff Leen. It will begin filming in June in Louisville, Kentucky.

Emily Bett Rickards is scheduled to star as Burke and the movie is written and directed by Ash Avildsen. Charlotte Flair is set to portray June Byers, while Morgan is scheduled to play Clara Mortensen. If Morgan's shoulder injury will affect her movie role is currently unknown.

All Elite Wrestling's Jim Ross is slated to work behind the scenes on the movie.
