Report: Update On Bobby Lashley's Injury Following WWE Elimination Chamber

Lashley was written off TV at Elimination Chamber

As seen at WWE’s recent Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia, former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has been written off of TV with kayfabe concussion issues.

Reports subsequently emerged that Lashley is dealing with legitimate shoulder issues, with a new report from PWInsider stating that ‘The All Mighty’ is currently in Birmingham, Alabama to get his shoulder checked out, and presumably undergo tests.

Earlier reports stated that Lashley is due to undergo surgery on the shoulder, but this trip to Birmingham suggests that this is not yet set in stone, as WWE will be desperate to avoid surgery until after WrestleMania, with Lashley looking at around four months on the sidelines if he goes under the knife.

On this week’s edition of WWE Raw, Paul Heyman announced that WWE Champion Brock Lesnar would be defending the title at Madison Square Garden on March 5, with Lashley set to be ‘The Beast Incarnate’s’ opponent ‘if he passes concussion protocols’. If Lashley is indeed out, then it remains to be seen who Lesnar will face at MSG.
