Report: Update On Roman Reigns' Summer Schedule Following WWE SmackDown

Latest on Roman Reigns' upcoming WWE schedule

Roman Reigns might be WWE's top star but the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion has worked a part-time schedule since WrestleMania 38, with it being noted that Reigns signed a new deal in recent months that allows him to work fewer dates.

The Tribal Chief only defended the Undisputed Title for the first time since unifying the WWE and Universal Championships at WrestleMania on the June 17 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, with Reigns successfully retaining the gold against Riddle.

Brock Lesnar returned following that match to take out Reigns and the two rivals will go one-on-one at SummerSlam for the Undisputed Title in a Last Man Standing Match.

With a high-profile main event at SummerSlam now booked, Reigns will continue to maintain a part-time schedule throughout the summer, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Reigns is scheduled to be on SmackDown for the June 24, July 8, and July 22 episodes but he will only make one appearance on Monday Night Raw, that being the July 25 go-home show before SummerSlam at Madison Square Garden. Reigns, meanwhile, is not listed for the July 29 episode of SmackDown.

Reigns will also work the pay-per-view after SummerSlam in Clash At The Castle, which is set to emanate from Cardiff, Wales, on September 3.
