Report: Update On The Rock's WWE WrestleMania 38 Status

Will The Rock be at WrestleMania?

The Rock may not be in action at WrestleMania 38.

The Brahma Bull will reportedly return to WWE after two years away at Survivor Series and The Rock was expected to clash with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. If a singles match wasn't possible, WWE had a backup plan where the Hollywood star would team with an Uso against Reigns and the other Uso.

Fans may have to wait another year for The Rock to appear at WrestleMania, though. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the feeling within WWE is that The Rock is more likely to step in the ring at WrestleMania 39 in Inglewood, California.

Meltzer noted The Rock will ultimately return to the ring when he wants to and his movie schedule means no final date for his return match can be locked down.

With The Rock seemingly out of the picture for WrestleMania 38, it would indicate that Brock Lesnar is in pole position to be Roman Reigns' opponent at The Showcase Of The Immortals.

It would be the third time Lesnar and Reigns have faced off at WrestleMania if the match takes place. They previously went one on one in the main event of WrestleMania 31 and WrestleMania 34.
