Report: Vince McMahon Looking For "Out Of The Box Ideas" For WWE Raw

Could we see a new version of Raw Underground...

This week's edition of Monday Night Raw only averaged 1.526 million viewers and a 0.41 rating in the 18-49 demographic, drawing all-time record low ratings for WWE's flagship show.

WrestleVotes reported earlier this week that the ratings weren't "sitting well" with WWE management and "reactionary decisions" are expected to be made.

A new report from Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co has noted Vince McMahon is looking for "out of the box ideas" for the December 21 edition of Raw. What these ideas could possibly be is unknown, but Raw Underground debuted shortly after the boss started looking for out of the box ideas in the Summer. There have also been discussions within the company about scrapping some of the plans for the build to the Royal Rumble.

The blame for declining ratings has been placed firmly on the creative team, according to Davis, and people are "walking on eggshells" now more than ever. There is also some concern that members of WWE creative will be fired if ratings don't turn around.
