Report: W. Morrissey Finished With IMPACT Wrestling

Where will W.Morrissey go next?

One of IMPACT's featured performers is no longer with the promotion.

W. Morrissey teamed with PCO in a loss against Moose and Steve Maclin on Thursday's edition of IMPACT Wrestling. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, that match was Morrissey's final appearance for the promotion and he has exited the organisation. The tag team match was taped back on May 13.

After returning to pro wrestling in Doc Gallows' Lariato Pro promotion, Morrissey made his IMPACT debut at the Rebellion pay-per-view in April 2021. Initially presented as a heel, the former Big Cass soon established himself as a featured performer in the company and he was featured in high-profile programmes with Moose, Eddie Edwards, and Matt Cardona. He also challenged Moose twice for the IMPACT World Title at Hard To Kill and No Surrender earlier this year.

Morrissey recently made his All Elite Wrestling debut, losing to Wardlow on the May 4 episode of Dynamite after being revealed as Mr Mayhem's mystery opponent.

WWE were said to be impressed by Morrissey's match on Dynamite but if Vince McMahon's company is the big man's next destination is currently unknown.
