Report: WWE Impressed With Zelina Vega's Recent In-Ring Work

Since she ditched Angel Garza and Andrade as clients, Zelina Vega has transitioned away from her manager role and transformed into a fully-fledged WWE Superstar. The former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion defeated six-time women's champion Mickie James on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, and she went toe to toe with Asuka at Clash Of Champions and on September 28. 

Many fans praised her two matches with The Empress Of Tomorrow, and according to Inside The Ropes, WWE has been "very impressed" with Vega's recent work inside the squared circle. Her promos have also continued to be commended and she is seen as "one of the best talkers in the entire company." 

Officials in WWE have been impressed with Vega for some time, and she previously mentioned she is one of Vince McMahon's favourites.

The WWE Superstar said: "And it's interesting because before even quarantine happened, Vince would always say, 'You're one of my favourites. You're one of the reasons that I watch Raw. I love your character.'"
