Ric Flair's Retirement Match Moved To Larger Arena

A bigger venue was needed for Ric Flair's final match

Ric Flair's retirement match has been moved to a larger venue.

It was announced on Monday that 'Ric Flair's Last Match' will now take place at the 9,000-seat Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 31.

The event was originally scheduled to take place at the Nashville Fairgrounds but the show sold out within 24 hours which prompted Starrcast and Thuzio to search for a bigger building. Tickets purchased for the Fairgrounds show will be honoured for the bigger venue.

Who Flair will face in his final match has yet to be revealed beyond that it will likely be a tag team bout. FTR and The Rock 'n' Roll Express' involvement has been rumoured.

The event will be Flair's first match in 11 years since he lost to Sting on a September 2011 episode of IMPACT Wrestling. It is widely believed that The Nature Boy had the perfect retirement at WWE WrestleMania 24 in 2008 but he returned to the ring only one year later.
