AEW Dynamite to feature Ricochet vs. The Beast Mortos in singles action
Since arriving in All Elite Wrestling, Ricochet has made no secret of wanting to face AEW International Champion Will Ospreay, with Ospreay telling his old frenemy to rack up some wins first before asking for a shot.
On the September 18 edition of AEW Dynamite, Ricochet will have the opportunity to increase his winning record in the company, but will have a big hurdle to overcome in the shape of The Beast Mortos. Mortos attacked Ricochet after his win over Sammy Guevara on the September 11 edition of Dynamite, and now the two will meet in singles competition for the first time in their respective careers. AEW President Tony Khan made the match official on X/Twitter.
Elsewhere on Dynamite, The Elite will be in action when the trio of The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada take on The Don Callis Family team of Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher.
