Ruby Soho Determined To Become AEW Women's World Champion

Can Soho win the gold?

New AEW signing Ruby Soho has revealed she is determined to become the promotion's women's champion.

Soho made her AEW debut at All Out as the Casino Battle Royale's Joker and she went on to win the match to earn a shot at the AEW Women's World Championship.

Speaking about her debut during the post-All Out media scrum, Soho noted a goal of hers is to hold gold on national TV.

"Since I have been on national television, I have never held a title, ever. And I think tonight I have solidified my opportunity to potentially be the AEW Women's Champion, which to me is the biggest honour that I could possibly have. And so that's of course a goal, is to be able to hold gold for the first time on national television. That's an amazing goal, and it's not one I take lightly. But I think I just wanna find my love for wrestling, and I think I found it tonight," Soho said.

With her win at All Out, Soho will challenge Baker for the title in the coming months and the former WWE Superstar believes she has the advantage by being "the new girl in town."

"I have known Britt Baker for a very long time, prior to AEW, back on the independents when she first broke in, I have known Britt Baker. But I also have been studying her for many years and just keeping up with her career. And she is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the hardest-working women in this industry, both in and out of the ring. So she will definitely be a very difficult opponent to come across," she continued.

"But I definitely think I have an advantage, being the new girl in town, and I think I have the advantage of having this newfound love for wrestling, this newfound fire that has been lit. That's what I'm gonna take into it and just use all of the excitement and feelings I felt tonight, and I'm gonna take it into my match with her."
