Saraya Details Dealing With Endometriosis

Saraya details suffering from endo belly

Saraya has opened up about dealing with endometriosis, a condition "where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes."

Saraya revealed while speaking to Taylor Wilde about online hate that she often suffers from endo belly because of the condition, which is painful, severe bloating of the abdomen. The AEW talent noted that she is unable to wrestle when the bloating occurs.

"The things that used to bother me the most, out of everything, is the way they would look at my weight. Everyone has an opinion about it. Lately, as well, they're telling me I look a lot bigger than usual. I want to tell them, listen, I'm getting older, I have really bad endometriosis. My belly swells up, I get endo belly. It swells up for a couple of weeks and it's really painful. I try and hide it, but I can't wrestle when my belly is like that. I can't wear wrestling gear, I'm too swollen. It's a really painful experience for me, and people just think that I'm fat. You have no idea, but everyone has an opinion," Saraya said.

The former WWE Divas Champion has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since September 2022. She made her return to the ring in November 2022 and Saraya has since gone on to form The Outcasts with Toni Storm. The stable added Ruby Soho to their ranks in March 2023 and they are currently locked in a feud with several AEW originals, including AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida.
