Shaquille O'Neal Returning To Wrestling This Summer

Shaquille O'Neal will be getting back in the ring soon.

The legendary basketball player was performing his regular duties on the NBA on TNT show yesterday and after being asked when he would be returning to wrestling, Shaq said: "Soon. This Summer."

O'Neal neglected to provide any further details about where he will be making his return or who he will be facing. A match with Paul Wight has been teased for years, though, going back to their confrontation at WrestleMania 32. 

Shaq wrestled in All Elite Wrestling earlier this year and he teamed with Jade Cargill against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. The NBA man picked up the win on that occasion and he took a big bump through a table following a Crossbody over the top rope from Cody. Shaq was then taken out of Daily's Place on a stretcher and put into the back of an ambulance, but he escaped from the vehicle soon after and hasn't been seen in AEW since.
