SPOILER: AEW Talent Returns From Injury At ROH TV Tapings

An AEW talent is back in action in Ring of Honor

A talent from All Elite Wrestling made their in-ring return at the latest Ring of Honor TV tapings from Orlando's Universal Studios on Sunday, June 4.

Deep into the TV tapings, Griff Garrison made his return to ROH to take on The Firm's Lee Moriarty. It wasn't a happy return for Garrison as he was defeated by pinfall after approximately five minutes.

Sunday was Garrison's first match since October 2022. He had been out of action for the past several months with an undisclosed injury and he underwent surgery to fix the issues later in the year.

Garrison has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since 2020 and he has appeared on Dynamite and Rampage in the past as one-half of The Varsity Blonds with Brian Pillman Jr. The tag team was seemingly split during Garrison's absence as Pillman transitioned to a team with Brock Anderson.

Sunday night wasn't Garrison's ROH debut as he previously competed for the promotion throughout 2019 and into early 2020 as one-half of The Master and The Machine with Marcus Kross.
