STARDOM Star Set To Be In Action At AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2024

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 to feature STARDOM star

All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling are gearing up for the third annual Forbidden Door event, with the two sides set to clash in Long Island, New York, on June 30.

Rumours suggest that lucha libre promotion CMLL could be set to join in the action, and it seems NJPW sister promotion STARDOM will also be crossing the threshold, with AZM set to wrestle on the show.

A report from BodySlam.net stated sources close to AZM confirmed she will be wrestling at the event, after AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm appeared at a STARDOM event in the ECW Arena in Philadelphia and teased the two promotions could clash at Forbidden Door.

AZM recently made her AEW in-ring debut on the April 13 edition of Collision, losing to Toni Storm in a title eliminator match.

Several STARDOM talents have started working AEW and Ring of Honor shows, with the recent Supercard of Honor XVII show featuring Mei Seira, Mina Shirakawa, and Maika defeating AZM, Saya Kamitani, and Tam Nakano in trios action.

The relationship between AEW and STARDOM was previously strained, with AEW President Tony Khan and former STARDOM head Rossy Ogawa not seeing eye-to-eye.
