Tag Team Championship Unification Bout Set For 5/20 WWE SmackDown

It's winners take all

It looks like WWE's men's Tag Team titles are going to be unified, for real this time.

Raw Tag Team champions RK-Bro will face SmackDown titleholders The Usos on next Friday's SmackDown in Grand Rapids, MI.

Randy Orton and Riddle showed up at the start of Friday's SmackDown, and issued a challenge to Jimmy and Jey Uso regarding a unification match.

Both teams (along with Roman Reigns, who was with The Usos) met in the ring during the main event segment, and the match was agreed to for the following week. After The Usos agreed, Riddle delivered a knee to the face of Reigns, before quickly escaping the ring with Orton.

The match between the teams was originally made for WrestleMania Backlash. However, the unification bout was later changed to a six man tag with Drew McIntyre teaming with Randy Orton and Riddle, and Reigns teaming with The Usos.

This will be the third unification bout in WWE this year. The NXT North American and Cruiserweight belts were unified in January, while the WWE World and Universal belts were unified at WrestleMania 38.
