Tag Team Rematch, Bobby Lashley Appearance Set For WWE Raw

The build to WrestleMania Backlash continues

WWE has announced a rematch for this Monday's episode of Raw, as well as an appearance from the reigning WWE champion.

This week's Raw will feature rematch from last Monday, as Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman team up to face T-Bar and Mace. The prior encounter ended in a disqualification, when McIntyre ripped off Mace's mask and began striking him with it. Strowman did the same with T-Bar's mask.

Prior to that match, McIntyre battled the two former Retribution members in a handicap match. McIntyre won the battle via DQ following a two-on-one assault, prompting Strowman to make the save. The tag team match was instituted then and there.

The week before, T-Bar and Mace attacked McIntyre, moments after he'd become number one contender to Bobby Lashley's WWE title. In story, MVP is claiming that neither he nor Lashley are affiliated with T-Bar and Mace.

Speaking of Lashley, WWE has announced that the reigning champion will appear on this Monday's Raw broadcast, in order to address his match with McIntyre at WrestleMania Backlash on May 16.

Lashley, for unspecified reasons, was not at Raw this past Monday.
