The Miz: I Made Sure Bad Bunny Earned His WWE WrestleMania 37 Spot

"This match was about respect, and Bad Bunny earned my respect"

Bad Bunny made his professional wrestling debut to widespread acclaim at WrestleMania 37 when he teamed with Damian Priest against The Miz and John Morrison. The Puerto Rican rapper managed to perform a Falcon Arrow and Canadian Destroyer during the 15-minute match and he picked up the win for his team following a Crossbody from the top rope to Miz while The A-Lister was on Priest's shoulders.

The Miz reflected on the match during a recent interview with Sports Illustrated and the two-time WWE Champion said he made Bad Bunny earn his spot on the WrestleMania card.

"Bad Bunny is the biggest recording artist out there right now. He's performed at the Super Bowl with Shakira and J.Lo, he won a Grammy, he's been on SNL. This guy is very popular and he's generating a new audience to WWE," Miz stated.

"To get a spot at WrestleMania, you have to be at the top of your game. I made sure Bad Bunny earned it. This match was about respect, and Bad Bunny earned my respect."
