The Miz: I Will Be WWE Champion Again One Day

Miz had an eight-day title run in February

The Miz has predicted he will hold the WWE Championship again, admitting his last run didn't run as long as he would have liked.

Miz won the WWE Title from Drew McIntyre at Elimination Chamber 2021 in February, cashing in his Money In The Bank Contract on the Scotsman after an attack by Bobby Lashley.

The 'A-Lister' would however drop the belt eight days later, losing to Lashley in a Lumberjack Match on Raw, setting up 'The All Mighty' for his feud with McIntyre at WrestleMania 37.

The Miz has held the WWE Championship twice now and is confidently anticipating a third run in his future.

The Miz told Sports Illustrated: "I do believe I’ll hold the title again. And it wasn’t as long as I would have liked, but if I’m given the title for a minute or a month, I don’t take it lightly. It means I am the one holding that title.

"The job is to carry it with respect and show that it is the most prestigious title in the world. This past time, I didn’t hold it for as long as I would have liked, but I will next time."
